If you are unsure what a warning light is indicating, then contact us at South Lake Motors immediately. Some lights you will not know what they mean by looking at them. The brake system light and the tire pressure light are not commonly known.

The Brake System

This light is an exclamation mark inside a circle with parenthesis on the outside of the circle. If your brake system light comes on, then it is indicating one of three problems. The easiest problem is that your parking brake is on. If that is not the problem, then your brake fluid is low or you have a problem with your braking system. Take your vehicle to our service team to avoid braking failure.

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

This light looks like a horseshoe with an exclamation mark in the middle of it. This is indicating that your tire is low or you have a sensor out. If it is a sensor, then you will want to replace that so your indicator can work when a tire is low. If your tire is low, then our team will check your tires and find the cause of the low tire.

Remember to have either of these warnings serviced as soon as possible. Our staff here at South Lake Motors will get your vehicle back on the road safely.
