The New Challenger with All-Wheel Drive

Is an all-wheel drive muscle car unheard of? Dodge breaks the standard with a new AWD Dodge Challenger GT that comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. At its base, the Challenger GT puts out 305 horsepower and has 6-speed manual transmission. However, you can opt for 8-speed automatic transmission as well.

The new Challenger GT V6 AWD will be the only one of its kind for a while. Dodge still has rear-wheel drive on other trims like the Hellcat and Challenger R/T. These engines are incredibly powerful on the other trims, including a 485 horsepower Hemi V8. You can upgrade this with the R/T Scat Package to a 392-cubic inch Hemi V8.

Dodge also put in some new performance handling packages like the Brembo brake package, competition-grade suspension system, and Bilstein adaptive damping system. These offer more power and lightweight handling for those who crave the ultimate driving experience. You can test drive the new Dodge Challenger GT at South Lake Motors in Rice Lake, WI.
